Events & Seminars
Throughout the year, the EES Academy organizes and offers a large variety of events, workshops, and seminars. All of them are held in English and intended for an international audience. Over the past 5 years we have hosted over 30 events with over 1000 participants. While some were organized exclusively for EES Academy members, most are open to external participants and we continue to make our events more accessible to the wider international community on electrochemical energy storage. The premium events of the EES Academy are the Block Course and Summer School which take place annually.
In addition, we offer individual Seminars and Workshops that are individually organized and announced on our event calendar or our LinkedIn channel.
The vast majority of our events are open to participants that are not (yet) member of the EES Academy. Please find details on participation at the respective event sites.
Block Course
The Block Course covers the full spectrum of electrochemical energy storage and conversion, from theory to engineering and from fundamentals to applications.
Summer School
The Summer School features lectures by international experts on a range of topics in battery research, alongside a strong focus on scientific exchange between participants.
Seminars
Throughout the year, a wide range of seminars, such as the POLiS, HIU or GDCh seminars, takes place on a regular basis, both online and in person.
