Block Course 2023 Part 2 running

The Block Course 2023 Part 2 is currently running. This time, we meet at Thomashof near Karlsruhe.

The 2nd part of the Block Course "Materials, Functioning and Technology of Batteries" takes place at Tagungszentrum Thomashof near Karlsruhe from 8 to 12 May 2023 with 22 participants.

The programm covers different battery types from classical aqueous batteries to post-Lithium batteries. There are also lectures on production, safety and sustainability of batteries and characterization techniques such as tomography, x-ray diffraction and microscopy.

Participants work in small groups and prepare joint presentations on current topics of battery research and energy transition.
