Block Course Part 1 completed

It’s a wrap! We have successfully completed the 1st part of this year’s GS-EES – Graduate School Electrochemical Energy Storage’s Block Course on "Materials, Functioning and Technology of Batteries", which took place from 4th to 8th March 2024 at Ulm University.

It’s a wrap! We have successfully completed the 1st part of this year’s GS-EES – Graduate School Electrochemical Energy Storage’s Block Course on "Materials, Functioning and Technology of Batteries", which took place from 4th to 8th March 2024 at Ulm University.

26 participants from research institutions all over Europe were welcomed in Ulm. In addition to scientific lectures ranging from fundamentals to electrolytes and electrode materials to characterization methods, the program also included several poster sessions by the participants as well as social activities.

The 2nd part of the Block Course will be taking place from 8th to 12th April 2024 at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
